Update

Well the kids are a few months into this school year and are loving it! Jaykob signed up for flag football and Robbie and I decided to coach it. It was easily one of the most enjoyable things we have ever done, and are planning on doing it again next year. Took Jaykob in to see his specialist for his scoliosis only to find out that his back has COMPLETELY straightened itself out! The doc said that if he didn't know Jaykob's history, he never would have known that he ever had scoliosis. Robbie and I also just found out a few weeks ago that we are expecting! YAY!! As of today I am almost 8 weeks along. Our bundle of joy is due July 7th.

Update...

It has been a while since I have updated here so here I go. Dominic finished his first year of preschool in May. He's not so happy now that he is out of school for a few months. We are finally getting him through potty-training. Not happy that it took this long though. But what are you gonna do? Dominic had his tonsils and adenoids removed just a few days before his birthday. He actually handled it pretty well. Besides a hoarse throat you would never had known he had major surgery.
Jaykob had his EEG done and when we went in for the results we found out that he did not have epilepsy. He did have a second of irregular activity on his EEG though. The doctor says that between the irregularity on the EEG and the family history, he will probably develop it later on in life. More than likely when he hits puberty. The hormonal change will probably be enough to bring it on. He is doing well though. We just recently went to the rodeo in town and Jaykob wants to be in the rodeo next year. Just have to talk to his doctor to see if it's alright.
Anyssa is still doing great. She is going to 2nd grade next year. She is so excited for school to start back up. She absolutely LOVES school. Just like her momma I guess. Always learning and always curious. Some of her best traits!

A new milestone....for the whole family.

This week has been a welcome transition for our entire family. Dominic started school yesterday. Dominic absolutely LOVES it! He has come home with a giant grin on his face everyday. That is all he can talk about while he is home. I honestly think that Robbie is having a harder time with Dominic being at school than Dominic is. It's great though to see him so confident of himself.
Jaykob is having a ambulatory EEG the first week of March. He goes in on March 2nd and will wear it until March 4th. It will take two weeks though before we can get the results from the EEG. So he is going back up on April 8th to get the results. Hopefully we will get good news on that visit. If not we will have to start him on medication for epilepsy. Keep us in your prayers.
Anyssa is doing great. She's got really good grades in school and loves to read. She got her ears pierced back in December for her 7th birthday. She is growing up so fast. Some days I look at her and I can picture how she will be as a teenager. Scary I know....
